(untitled) Names is related to the production of art and its reception. It is a personal statement about influences and works concerning my own practice. The names relate to artists, and as I did chose them they relate to me.
Yet this is not the only possible way of reading this work. It is also a work about a shift and a projection from something internal to an outside, and from this outside space to an inside space again. It is concerned with the systems and structures one is confronted with while working on a piece of art and those that are constructed by the audience.
The boards are displays, surfaces for projections that repetitively evoke similar questions: Whom is the artist referring to? What is the relation between the boards/names? How are they related to the author? Is there a system in which they can be organized and structured?
The answers to these questions vary and reflect those that come up in artistic production.

(untitled) Names ist die Projektion eines Innen in ein Außen und des Außen wieder in ein Innen. Die Arbeit entspringt Überlegungen zur Produktion und Rezeption künstlerischen Arbeit.
Es geht um die Zuordnungen und Einordnungen, an die man beim Arbeiten gerät und die das Publikum beim Nachdenken über die Arbeit erzeugt.
Die Tafeln sind Projektionsflächen, die immer die Fragen hervorrufen: Worauf beziehen sich die Namen, bezieht sich die Künstlerin? Gibt es zwischen den Tafeln einen Zusammenhang? Gibt es ein System in dem sie angeordnet sind oder angeordnet werden könnten? Die Antworten auf diese Fragen variieren und spiegeln damit jene, die sich innerhalb der künstlerischen Produktion auftun.
